The Pharmacy Department at is responsible for overseeing the administration of our plans' pharmacy benefits for members. They also ensure coordination with IPAs and individual providers to assure that the proper medications are being administered as prescribed.
Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee
This committee is comprised of a multidisciplinary team that meets quarterly to review the Medication Formulary and evaluate the quality of pharmaceutical care provided to members. In addition to maintain the Formulary, the Pharmacy Department manages the prior authorizations.
